VerifyHR: Delivers instant products through the
Verifone Vx570 to the “Point-of-Hire”
I. VerifyHR National Criminal/ SSN Search:
Combination of the National Criminal History and Social Security searches (see below)
- National Criminal History: KwikScreen with 160 million criminal
records is one of the largest national criminal files in the U.S. (criminal convictions
take 1-3 days to confirm) Returned info includes:
- Level of the record (felony or misdemeanor)
- How the record was verified (name, date of birth, and/or social security number)
- Case number
- Offense
- Disposition and date
- Social Security Search: Hits the Social Security Administration’s
databases to instantly search an applicant’s social security number and determine
its validity, the year and state of issuance (if available), check it against the
SSN’s Death Master Index to ensure it is not registered to a person listed
as deceased and will work verify if the name and SSN match.
- Sex Offender Registry: A National search of the 37 available state
sex offender registries to determine if the individual is listed as a sex offender
and, if available, provide a photograph of the individual for enhanced identity
verification (photos only available over internet).
- Specially Designated Nationals (Terrorism Database): A search of
the repository maintained by the United States Department of Treasury, which stores
those individuals and companies who have been designated by the government as being
related to terrorism.
II. Motor Vehicle Records (MVR):
We will provide a motor vehicle history for the state in which an individual holds
a driver’s license. States differ in the information provided, but the average
history is available for three (3) years. 35 states have instant MVR’s available.
III. Credit History Report:
We will provide a credit history report, through fax, overnight mail or snail mail
depending on your request. This information is too lengthy to come over terminal,
unless you only request credit score.
IV. (later in ’04) Name and Address History:
GiS runs an individual’s social security number against a national database
to return all names and addresses associated with the social security number. This
information is then used to develop possible names and addresses not provided on
the application, for which additional criminal history searches can be conducted.
